A creamy garlic chicken recipe that combines the richness of a garlic butter sauce with the tender taste of chicken and bowtie pasta, perfect for a comforting and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
Scale:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
8 oz Bowtie Pasta (Farfalle)
4 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
1 cup Chicken Broth
1/2 cup Heavy Cream
1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated (optional)
Fresh Parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
Boil the Pasta: Cook the bowtie pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Sauté the Garlic: In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Cook the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Add them to the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides and no longer pink in the center, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and slice into strips.
Create the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens.
Combine: Add the sliced chicken and cooked bowtie pasta to the sauce. Toss until well coated and heated through.
Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley before serving.
